GMAT Math Average Overview
The average is a very popular concept on the GMAT. Average questions come up in a few forms; most popular of those forms being a Word Problem. To find the average of n numbers, simply add the numbers and divide by n or the sum of all numbers in a group divided by the count of numbers in that group.
Average = sum of terms divided by number of terms
